The network architecture of a cloud data center can be divided into a Spine Core, a Core Edge Switch (Leaf Switch) and an access Switch (TOR).
1. From the access switch (TOR) to the server NIC, use 10G SFP+ AOC active optical cable interconnection.
2. From TOR to Edge Core, 40GE QSFP+ SR optical modules and MPO fiber jumpers are used for interconnection
3. From the Edge Core switch to the Spine Core, 100G QSFP28 CWDM4 optical module and LC dual fiber fiber jumper are adopted for interconnection.
Cloud data center is the infrastructure of cloud computing. Cloud computing business continues to penetrate, driving the construction of cloud computing super-large data center. Cloud IT infrastructure is mainly composed of switches, servers and optical fiber and optical module (or AOC) connecting everything. The upsizing of cloud data center will greatly increase the consumption of optical modules, and at the same time increase the transmission distance of optical modules, increasing the proportion of single-mode optical modules.
