The main cable of the fiber tail is round cable, and the branch nodes usually use black heat-shrinkable tubes instead of branching devices, which can save costs. The main cable of the ribbon fiber tail fiber is flat cable, and the branch nodes usually use black branching device, because the ribbon flat cable is not easy to be fixed, so the heat shrinkable tube cannot be used.
The concept and significance of a branch device: it is usually connected in the middle of a branch line or main line and consists of a main input end, a main output end and several branch output ends. The branch output end only gets a small part of the main input signal, and most of the signals are still output along the main road and continue to be transmitted backward.
Fiber pigtails and fiber fusion
